We're so excited to kick off the new season on Tuesday 8th September 2015. Read on to make sure you fully understand how tryouts for Superstars will work this season...
Tryouts for each team are over two weeks and during that teams' usual training time. We have done this to ensure all athlets get two opportunities to demonstrate their skills and override any nerves of the first week.
All returning members must pay their season membership of £45 in cash at the start of tryouts. New athletes are welcome to attend our 2 week FREE TRIAL to ensure they get a full sense of our program and if it's a good fit before making any payments. Following this your season membership of £45 is due at your next session in cash.
You MUST sign up in ADVANCE of attending tryouts. The links to signup for both our standard and elite programs are on our website on all pages.
Please arrive at least 15mins early for your first session of the season. Ideally up to 30mins early.
Park in the front car park, walk through the pedestrian gate, immediately turn right and walk through the next gate, follow the path round to the white double doors into our hall.
Ensure you bring water and a snack.
Please wear comfortable exercise clothing that allows you to invert without too much movement. Please also bring a t-shirt (even if you prefer to train in a sports bra) to enable assisted spotting.
We have no viewing area for parents and do not allow spectators - please factor this into your plans.
Assuming good behaviour and listening skills; ALL ATHLETES who tryout with Superstars WILL be placed onto a suitable competitive and/or training pathway. All competitive athletes will be placed to best ensure them a successful season.
Please know that at Superstars we will always:
Place athletes on the most suitable team for their own skill level and long-term development.
Support our athletes training outside of the gym with online comments and direction when sharing their work via our social media channels.
Support our athletes entire personal, social, emotional and academic development including finding the right balance between their commitment to Superstars and all other areas of their life.
Treat our athletes with care and respect and ask the same in return.
Encourage and expect open and honest communication between staff, athletes and parents.
Endeavour to provide our members with a superior professional service.
Offer recruitment bonuses to those who introduce new athletes to our program.
Please be aware that we will not:
Be able to accept anyone at tryouts who has outstanding fees from the previous season. If you wish to tryout all fees including late fees must be brought up to date.
Tolerate overdue fees beyond 1 week. Notification and late fees will be given following any fee deadline. Anyone overdue beyond 1 week will not be able to take part in training until fees are brought up to date. This may also result in removal from competition team/s.
Enter ANY athlete into competition without completed paperwork and payments. This would also result in removal from competition team/s.
Tolerate rudeness, aggression or violence directed at ANY of our staff. Such behaviour will result in immediate dismissal from our program.
