The 2016-17 Season
The full 2016-17 season begins in September 2016 but before that we are holding pre-tryouts and athlete evaluations 1th, 19th and 20th July 2016.
During these sessions we will assess your current skill levels and notify you of what you need to work on. You will then have a clear idea of which ages/levels would be most suitable for you to tryout for in September.

Our new season pack is not ready yet - but when it is - you'll find it here.
We are aiming to make 2016/17 our most successful year EVER and we want you to be a part of it. Superstars will be offering multiple 'tracks' of training and competitive opportunities next season. Check them out below:
Our recreational athletes attend only our rec classes. They do not compete in competitions. They are able to miss training here and there if they have other commitments. They are allowed to leave the program with just one month's notice.
We expect to offer rec classes in: Dance, Tumble, Stunt, Conditioning and Stretch.
This is the first level of competitive team. These teams will attend just one competition in the summer and work towards this goal all year. These teams still require a strong commitment to training however athletes are not required to have maxed skills in the level or attend tumble sessions (provided they are working at home on their development). There is a moderate financial commitment for their uniform, bow and competition costs.
We expect to offer comp teams in Tiny/Mini 1 Cheer, Youth 1 Cheer, Senior 1 Cheer
These are our highly competitive teams. They attend mutliple competitions, are required to train tumble weekly and must demonstrate high level appropriate skills at tryouts to earn a position. The financial commitment on these teams is higher due to more competitions. The elite teams will also have a new bow next season.
We expect to offer elite teams in Youth 2 Cheer, Junior 1 Cheer, Senior 4.2 Cheer, Open 1 Cheer
This season will see new classes and teams being offered to better serve our members.
Tiny: Stunt L1. Cheer L1.
Mini: Stunt L1, L2. Dance Jazz.
Youth: Stunt L1, L2, L3, L4. Cheer L1, L2.

Partner Stunt: Youth, Junior, Senior and Open.
2016-17 Age Divisions
All ages are based on the athlete's age on 31st Aug 2016 for the entire season. This is called your 'season age' and it is the only age we consider for teams.

Mini - 8yrs and under
Youth - 11yrs and under
Junior - 14yrs and under
Senior - 10yrs+
Open - 17yrs+
Selected teams aiming for international competition have different age requirements based on the year of birth. These are detailed in the season pack.

Flyers to perform a stretch sequence on locked base leg as well as a number of drills.
Bases and backs will need to demonstrate their proficiency in conditioning drills.
Everyone will do basic stunting drills to assess technique and ability to apply feedback.
All athletes will also need to demonstrate standing and running tumble, dance and a jump sequence.

Final 2 weeks of July 2016
2015-16 Competition Costs:
Due to the events we plan on attending we estimate that the majority of athletes will pay less for the competitive season than last year. We will be doing fewer overnight events (accomodation is the biggest cost for these). We also plan to attend more 1 day events where we will take everyone there and back on team transport. There will of course be a fee for this but it makes everyone's lives easier. A full cost breakdown is provided in the 2015/16 Season Pack.
2015-16 Fee Platform:
We believe the fee platform introduced this season has worked well for the majority of members and will be maintaining a similar structure next season.
One-off Season Membership
ALL ATHLETES: £45 includes 2 season t-shirts, team book, team pin badge and bonus gifts. Due at tryouts for returning athletes or following 2 week trial for new athletes.
Competition Team Premium
One-off fee of £10 per competition team you join. This is to pay for routine music, competition admin, choreography, etc. We believe it is fairer to charge only comp athletes this fee rather than incorporate it into everyone's fees. Due by 31st Oct 2015 for all teams.
All monthly payments will be due Oct15-June16 for a total of 9 payments.
1 x 1hr class p/w: £25pm
1 x 1hr30 class or 1h15 dance team p/w: £35pm
1 x competitive cheer p/w: £45pm
1 x competitive cheer per fortnight: £25pm
Additional 1hr class p/w: £10pm
Additional 1h15 or 1hr30 class p/w: £15pm
Additional 2hr class p/w: £20pm
The family member attending the most training pays full price. Each additional family member gets a 15% discount. For family discounts to be applied the whole family must pay in one monthly payment. This is an increase from last season.
We will be continuing our recruitment bonus program next season. If you recruit 4 new people who join you will get your training for free for as long as they stay and pay their fees. If you recruit more than 4 people who join you will get a £20 kit bonus for each person above your first 4.
Cheer / Stunt
Superstars bought a new cheer/stunt kit for the 2014/15 season and this will be staying until the end of the 2017 season. We will have some co-ordinating items available which some teams may use to compete in. These will be in line with current uniform prices. Cheer and stunt will have a new 2015/16 season bow priced at £15. Training wear will remain the same for the majority of items with some new options becoming available.
Pom will be moving to the same kit at cheer/stunt but with matching sublimated leggings and black split sole jazz shoes.
Costume will be in line with the routine theme for the season. Estimated cost including shoes no more than £40.
Costume will be in line with the routine theme for the season. Estimated cost excluding shoes no more than £30. Nude split sole jazz shoes will be required for prop.

If this team goes ahead we will take a vote on preference between the standard uniform and a training kit version (t-shirt and shorts or leggings).
